Job Summary:
The Senior Account Executive is an experienced sales executive that is primarily responsible for meeting weekly and monthly sales goals for inside sales, group sales, with some business to business and premium sales. As the senior representative on the staff they are involved with helping to mentor and support junior representatives. They are responsible for managing ticket operations duties for assigned sports.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Make at least 70 outbound sales calls every day to meet weekly and monthly sales goals selling season tickets, partial season tickets and flex plans for football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball. Sales include individuals as well as business and premium sales.

Make group sales calls to various organizations and companies for all ticketed sports to sell group tickets. Research group organizations, make contacts with group leaders and manage relationship to drive revenue and increase attendance.

Self-prospect new season ticket and group ticket buyers to generate new leads. Setup meetings and develop relationships to drive revenue. Work with marketing staff to develop group leads through the creation and development of themed group nights and create relationships in the organization to increase the reach and success of promotional events.

Answer inbound sales and service calls, providing assistance and customer service to customers. Utilize the CRM software to manage accounts, settle disputes, and analyze customer trends to further revenue and attendance.

Work various sporting events and community events promoting Southern Miss Tickets and developing leads and selling direct to consumers. Manage setting up displays and coordinating events with festivals, events, and companies. Manage part-time and student staff at various events.

Assist ticket office operations for assigned sports, by preparing and executing box office of events, managing student and part-time staff, including managing ticketing orders and working with customers, and generating attendance reports on the day of the game. As well as other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and one to three years related experience and/or training in sales or related field. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers, clients, and general public. Ability to communicate effectively with both verbal and written forms, detail orientated, self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications :
Graduate level education, three to five years sales experience, familiarity with ticketing software and CRM programs are a plus.
