The Strategic Sport Communications Manager will drive communications across Football and other assigned Pac-12 sports, including primary responsibility for the promotion of Pac-12 teams, student-athletes and the Pac-12 as a whole in such sports through communications channels. The person in this role will possess a proven ability to develop strategic communications plans and tactical experience operationalizing such plans; proven ability to proactively generate positive publicity across all media; social and digital media expertise; an ability to create content that supports promotion; strong media relationships; extensive football communications experience; strong Football and other sport specific knowledge; a proven ability to utilize relevant data to make communications decisions; and a strong ability to identify and manage issues. The Strategic Sport Communications Manager will have proven ability to work cross-functionally across teams. He/she must be a team player with a strong work ethic, great relationship skills, and high integrity. The position will report into the VP, Public Affairs and Head of Communications.
