Duties & Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and direct the development and execution of a wide variety of broadcast design vehicles including title opens, logo idents, transitions, in-game features, bumps, teases, LED fascia animations, miscellaneous digital content, etc.
- Collaborate with directors and internal project leads to push design and animation boundaries
- Develop strong, sophisticated multilayered design and animation concepts
- Find fulfillment in working on BOTH high-concept Animations as well as Motion Design in a Production & Replication-based environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Ticketing, Merchandising, and Business Development as well as other departments to develop and execute designs based on property’s brands
- Must be able to make deadlines in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly and calmly to client and producer requests
- Must be able to come up with creative solutions to stay within tight deadlines
- Keep abreast of new technology and motion design trends/advances
- Excellent work ethic and passion for design & animation
- Must be able to respond in a positive, solution-driven approach to constructive criticism/critique as well as work well in a team-based setting
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary or requested.
Minimum Qualifications for the Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Study, Arts or Animation with 3-5 years of experience in the field
- Solid portfolio of professional caliber work, which exhibits a strong understanding of functionality along with creativity.
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in Maxon C4D is preferred for production environment. Adobe Premiere considered a plus.
- Proven ability to create unique concepts, expand and develop creative direction to fit various sports and corporate brands alike.
- Experience in a broadcast environment is not required but considered a plus.
- Must be available to work some non-traditional hours; including nights, weekends, and whenever needed
