The Vice President of Business Operations for the Rochester Americans is in charge of leadership and strategy for all areas of the team's business operations. This individual oversees the directors and managers as they carry out the strategic plans and business objectives of the team, measures the results, and reports them to the executive leadership team. The VP of Business Operations is expected to grow existing revenue streams for the team, as well as find new areas of development and improvement across all departments. This individual is also expected to be a community leader and an advocate for the organization.



•      Oversee the team's business operations to ensure revenue growth, efficiency, quality customer service levels, and cost-effective management of resources

•      Oversee and manage the Rochester American's staff responsible for all areas of business for the team

•      Work with the Director of Business Development to establish sales strategy's and goals for the organization with an emphasis on revenue growth

•     Work with the Director of Ticket Sales to determine pricing, sales strategy's, revenue goals and overall revenue growth

•      Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationships

•      Oversee the team's business planning and budgeting process and present the annual plans to the company's Executive Leadership Team

•      Analyze revenue and expenditure trends, recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control

•      Work with the EVP of Marketing, PSE to develop a strategic plan to promote revenue growth, profit growth, and growth as an organization

•      Monitor and analyze operating results against budgets and make modifications when appropriate

•      Ensure the team's capital expenditures fit with the overall strategic plan

•      Develop and recommend operating policies and procedural improvements

•      Establish and maintain a positive community relationship with the goal of becoming a community leader within the market

•     Work with building management to ensure operational efficiencies at Rochester American games, as well as the coordination of various partnership agreements

•     Act as the primary liaison between the business and team operations
