Summary

The Associate Manager of Partnership Operations is responsible for working on the legal, financial, reporting and project-based needs of the business development department for the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits and other proprieties within the PSE portfolio.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

· Manage the business development budget for the Sabres, Bandits, LECOM Harborcenter. Oversee the financial reconciliation and reallocation of funds each month. Create and maintain a tracking document to reflect this process.

· Manage the contract and amendment process for the Sabres+ business development team including creating contracts for all properties out of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, as well as outside of the system as needed. Route contracts to legal, sales and other parties for review/approval and execution. Create and maintain a tracking document to reflect this process.

· Manage all accounts payable for the Sabres+ business development department, as well as the purchase order process and approvals through MetaStor/Repository, DocuWare and JobRouter.

· Facilitate any travel needs for the Sabres+ team and associated reporting

· Manage the rebill process for sponsorship expenses

· Responsible for all things related to KORE and Tableau, including but not limited to accurate and complete data entry, pulling reports, inventory management, etc.

· Lead the NHL and NLL league reporting process and execution

· Work with the Sabres+ team and ADPRO on ordering and execution of apparel, gifting and autographed merchandise

· Regularly communication effectively with the Sabres+ team on the A/R and overall business operations

· Coordinate payment for and fulfillment of inventory for charitable events that the Sabres+ business development department supports

 

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

· Minimum of 3 years work experience in sports-related legal, finance, and/or business development

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM/KORE is a plus.

 

Critical Competencies

· Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills

· Must be highly detail oriented with an attention to accuracy and thoroughness

· Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment

· Experience in leading projects from start to finish

· Self-motivated and self-starter
