Responsible for the day to day operations in the Back of the House and Kitchen area including but not limited to preparation, maintenance of quality standards, food standards, safety, sanitation and staff management.  The products, food, and duties you perform are vital to the success of our restaurant. You will be expected to provide the highest quality product for the ultimate sports fan.
Basic Functions in the Back-of-the-House include: 
  • Receiving and ordering product
  • Managing the daily responsibilities of the staff
  • Fill in where needed to ensure we meet hour high guest service standards and efficient operations
  • Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures including checking and maintaining proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
  • Ensure equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
  • Performing opening, closing & side duties – setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and prep, line, expo stations
  • Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge
  • Involved in handling all re-cook, special prep, long ticket, large party/voucher group procedures
  • Communicating professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff
  • Acting as a liaison between the Back-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House staff
  • Manage Back of the House labor based on business demand and needs
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements include:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 2-3 Years Sous Chef Experience
  • Knowledge of BOH procedures for food, safety and sanitation
  • Experience in procuring and receiving product preferred
  • A food safety certification program is required to be completed before being able to handle food
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and written
  • Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks as necessary
  • Ability to be a problem solver and think outside of the box
  • Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
  • Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency
  • Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
