Position Summary
The Atlanta Falcons Youth Football Seasonal Assistant will provide support to all youth football, high school football, and flag football outreach events, programs, and initiatives as a part of the Community Relations Department. In addition to weekdays, the Seasonal Assistant will provide support during evening and weekend hours as dictated by the department’s events and responsibilities.  

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist with event planning for all youth football events including Youth Football Camps, Moms Academies and State Forums
  • Coordinate and execute events related to flag football, including the NFL FLAG In-Schools program, trainings and working with local NFL FLAG leagues
  • Assist with coordinating all high school football related events and programs, including the High School Coaches Huddle and OTA visits
  • Manage all youth and high school football contact databases 
  • Assist with managing @FalconsCR Twitter and Instagram accounts, keeping the accounts constantly updated with new youth and high school football material 
  • Manage youth football equipment, community relations promotional items and storage facilities
  • Provide support for other Community Relations programs, events and initiatives as needed
  • Respond to Community Relations inquiries

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • Previous experience in event operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications and Education
  • Two years’ experience in the sports industry
  • Previous experience in youth or high school football
