Overview:

Position Responsibility:

Embrace a “Working Supervisor” role. Employee will be required to work alongside Grounds Staff
Develop and establish effective landscape, garden and ground maintenance plans
Service and maintain multiple irrigation systems and backflow preventers
Plan and provide grounds staff with daily assignments
Manage yearly landscape budget & order/inventory supplies needed
Ensure all landscape equipment is cleaned, serviced and maintained
Communicate safety standards and incident reporting processes for teammates
Hire part-time staff to assist with landscape duties around NASCAR event weekends
Oversee NASCAR event weekend housekeeping and cleanup crews
Other duties assigned by the Director of Operations & Vice President of Operations

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar grounds/landscaping role
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a project management/supervisor role
Proficient in the English language, knowledge of Spanish is highly desirable
High school diploma or GED (equivalency)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong written and oral communications skills
Positive attitude and creative problem solver who enjoys multi-tasking

Position Type: Full-time

Compensation: Negotiable based on prior work experience
