Headquartered in Glendora, Calif., NHRA is the primary sanctioning body for the sport of drag racing in the United States. Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
THE FOLLOWING PART-TIME POSITION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT OUR WEST CENTRAL DIVISION OFFICE LOCATED IN INDEPENDENCE, MO:
(approximately 20 - 24 hours per week)
 
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
 
This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Division Director.  Duties include data entry and processing of new and renewal license applications, generating reports on division race activity, coordinating event staff travel, newsletter/flyer production, processing of department/staff expense reports and providing customer service to the member tracks and racers in the division.  Additional responsibilities include coordinating the year-end division banquet and assisting the field department as needed.
 
Qualifications include a minimum of 3+ years experience in a related position, excellent communication skills, experience with event planning (travel arrangements, catering, etc.), proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (Access a plus), 10-key skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer oriented environment.
