Headquartered in Glendora, Calif., NHRA is the primary sanctioning body for the sport of drag racing in the United States. NHRA presents 24 national events featuring the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and the NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series. NHRA provides competition opportunities for drivers of all levels in the NHRA Summit Racing Series and the NHRA Drags: Street Legal Style presented by AAA. NHRA also offers the NHRA Jr. Street program and the Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League for youth ages 5 to 17. Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
This full time position will report to the Track Manager and will assist in the full scope of event management, race operations & administration.  This will include but is not limited to: office management, verifying employee payroll, staffing events, light accounting, maintaining the event calendar and the planning and execution of events within budgetary constraints.   
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years related experience with preferably a background in motorsports. In addition, this position requires that you be a multi-tasker, able to work independently and have excellent communication skills to professionally communicate information as needed in a timely manner to racers and customers.  Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks.   A background in social media is highly desirable.
