Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales
Description:  Position reports directly to the Director of Business Development. Position will be responsible for generating sales in the all areas of the track, including sponsorship, display, signage and corporate hospitality.  Responsibilities will also include all event coordination and logistics in relation to assigned fulfillment areas, database management, and coordination with various internal departments, including ticketing, consumer marketing and public relations. 
Candidate will be responsible for putting together aggressive programs for increased sales of available track inventory. Position will be responsible for maintaining existing client base and pursing new business sales initiatives from both inside and outside sales. Candidate must have strong presentation skills, networking skills and computer skills including experience with inventory management software. 
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
·         Sponsorship, signage, display and hospitality sales strategy and execution
·         Responsible for sales targets and expense targets of sales/operation
·         Work daily in Company inventory management software system (EBMS)
·         Sells full menu (sponsorship, group, etc.) of inventory
·         Develop new inventory for corporate sales
·         Servicing existing customers
·         Hospitality event tickets and credentials
·         Inside sales and outside sales required
·         Contract fulfillment
·         Promotional campaigns and database management
·         Processing individual customer orders
·         Work with ticket office with up-selling group tickets as part of sponsorship programs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with external and internal clients
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and manage time and resources effectively
  • Detail oriented and self-directed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
  • College degree, preferably in related business field, i.e. Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management
  • 1-3 years sales experience, preferably in sports environment 
  • Excellent communication and time management skills with friendly and professional demeanor
  • Must be able to work in a team environment interacting with multiple departments
  • Must be well-organized with attention to detail
  • Must possess a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic
