Marketing: Marketing
  • Oversee all functions of Homestead-Miami Speedway’s advertising efforts, including:
o   Creating and facilitating the marketing and advertising plan
o   Managing the track’s relationship with ad agency (including objectives, budgets, creative and schedules)
o   Creating, managing, and coordinating all in–house advertising vehicles and placement (brochures, direct mail, sales kits, etc.)
  • Develop and coordinate all media and sponsor driven event promotions
  • Leverage ISC Consumer Marketing resources (marketing research, access to databases, fanMAX) for initiatives at Homestead-Miami Speedway
  • Oversee aspects of consumer interaction, including prospecting and the sales flow progression, as well as grassroots/community promotions, multicultural and outreach
  • Create annual marketing plans for Homestead-Miami Speedway, Ford Championship Weekend, Fast Lane Fridays and other events as scheduled
  • As the point of contact for Homestead-Miami Speedway’s ad agency, direct the planning, development, and implementation process, in accordance with budget guidelines, of advertising and media concepts for Homestead-Miami Speedway and designated events with our agency including layout, copy writing, and production of such advertisements.
o   Develop and grow relationships with media partners 
                §  Manage all added value stemming from media buy
  • Manage the design, content, layout and production of Homestead-Miami Speedway collateral materials (brochures, sales kits, direct mail, etc.), in accordance with budget guidelines, including specifying quality of materials
  • Using fanMAX and digital/social media, implement a targeted fan prospecting and customer flow plan to drive leads for ticket and hospitality sales, generating affinity for the event and sport along the way
  • Manage consumer research initiatives
  • Develop relationships with promotions representatives with key regional and local media sources in key markets to develop strong media-driven consumer promotions to compliment Homestead-Miami Speedway’s advertising efforts by maximizing budgets, market penetration and creating demand for tickets sales
  • Manage and oversee all grassroots and promotional efforts
  • With the Director of Corporate Sales, work closely with Homestead-Miami Speedway sponsors and corporate partners to develop and execute strong sponsor-driven consumer promotions to help create demand for event admissions
  • Manage event promotion budgets and promotional ticket allocations
  • Manage team that handles the following race weekend fan interactive items:
o   Pre-Race Festivities
o   Autograph Sessions
o   Kids Zone
o   Concerts
o   Entertainment Stage
o   Dignitaries
o   Driver Introductions
o   Victory Lane
  • Process invoices and monitor expenses to ensure meeting budget guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
