Strategy for Winning:
This role reports to the SVP, Global Consumer Products and will lead team responsible for all aspects of business development, partner marketing and integration, retail marketing and activations. This role will oversee the e-commerce and event retail businesses and work closely with business partners across the broader organization.

Responsibilities:
1.       Develops and executes retail marketing and activation programs to drive sell in and sell through of licensed products 
2.       Creates platforms to scale global e-commerce business
3.       Develops and executes Consumer Products digital strategy across social and OTT platforms
4.       Manages team and develops strategies for licensee activations and integration through UFC and broader company divisions
5.       Partners with department business leaders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
6.       Collaborates with internal Global Partnerships Team to create UFC partner promotions and develop new partnerships
7.       Leads strategy with internal and external partner to scale event retail business
8.       Works closely with IMG Licensing to support and partner on business development initiatives
9.       Collaborates with internal and broader company divisions to create and execute product collaborations, unique retail experiences and unexpected partnerships
10.   Translates and leverages consumer insights and market trends into meaningful and executable business strategies
11.   Manages team responsible for all Consumer Products related business development assets and tools
 
Skills & Experience:



1.       Minimum ten years experience with sports property or apparel/footwear brand in consumer products, business development, sponsorship or licensing
2.       Proven track record of business development utilizing an intellectual property licensing and brand extension model across an array of platforms, media and retail/e-commerce outlets
3.       Proven track record of expanding into new markets and growing revenue within established markets
4.       Strong retail and industry relationships
5.       Strong program / project management skills with ability to drive planning, schedules, estimates, budgeting, resource plans and status reports
6.       Digital and e-commerce experience
7.       Strong merchandising and product orientation; has worked extensively with the retail trade to develop comprehensive and innovative programs to extend multiple brands
8.       Experience in establishing and managing strategic partnerships with superior negotiation skills and a track record of building mutually beneficial financial relationships
9.       Progressive leadership roles and management experience
10.   Experience working with International Markets
11.   Ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive and entrepreneurial environment
12.   Relationship-builder with ability to influence and gain alignment with complex and varied constituencies
13.   Articulate though-leader with exceptional written, listening and verbal communication skills
14.   Demonstrated leadership skills and high-level thinking, comfortable operating in a hands-on style with lean forward energy consistent with fast-growing startup business
