Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
We are looking for a Special Projects Assistant to the CEO, to serve as an administrative right-hand for our CEO in all matters of client satisfaction and happiness. The ideal candidate will track the schedule of project deliverables, communicate regularly with 200+ sports clients on behalf of the CEO, and ensure the satisfaction and happiness of each of our clients.

The ideal candidate is a trusted extension of our CEO, can earn the trust of our clients, and is a part problem-solver, part project-manager, and part account executive. The ideal candidate has a passion for client satisfaction, processes, scheduling, project management, and digital products for sports. willingly rolls up their sleeves, jumps into tasks that need attention, learns what needs to be done, and then just gets things done.

  • Has expertise with project-management tools such as JIRA
  • Has expertise with graphic design for sports, with experience in using Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.
  • Has expertise with putting together polished, professional documents, including product-roadmaps and reports
  • Track record of experience working in the sports industry, and gets the demanding and exhilarating pace and intensity of the industry
  • Can work independently and be proficient on day 1 of the job with little training
  • Can spot problems proactively, and think several steps ahead
  • Has experience in working with Engineering, Design, and QA teams in a high-tech company
  • Seeks to grow their career in digital/sports, and learn about the ins and outs of running a company

  • Track the deliverables and expectations of 200+ clients on a company-wide calendar
  • Prepare the CEO daily for meetings with clients by providing status updates on projects
  • Report daily to the CEO on the progress of all client-facing company projects
  • Follow up daily on action items for the CEO, including business development, account management, and project management

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English (this is a writing-heavy administrative role)
  • Advanced skills with Excel spreadsheets, including macros, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, etc.
  • Willingness and ability to work the non-traditional hours of the sports industry, including weekends, evenings and holidays (when sports teams have their games scheduled), as needed.
  • Passion for customer service, and a passion to grow one's career in the sports industry.
