The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript developer to build out our web platforms and web applications that are visited by over 80 million users and used in over 200 mobile apps around the world. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in building JavaScript-based web applications, including familiarity with multiple frameworks, strong programming fundamentals, and typical web application development and deployment processes. We are looking for a senior developer who is capable of working on multiple projects at once and seeing them all through to completion, and a self-starter who is able to work through any obstacles to get the job done. We are a 24/7/365 global sports entity, so a solid understanding and love of sports and digital platforms is highly recommended.

Is an experienced JavaScript programmer
Has built multiple production web applications
Enjoys programming, debugging and dealing with production code every day

What you will be doing...

Writing JavaScript code for production web applications that provide access to to media content, interactive features, loyalty programs, ticketing, etc. across millions of users around the world.
Working with APIs to pull data from real-time feeds for content, analytics, statistics, user data, etc. to drive web applications.
Ensuring that your work is production-ready and deploying code updates to production systems

Be our MVP if you have...

5 years+ of experience in building production JavaScript web applications
3 years+ of experience in working with RESTful APIs using both XML and JSON
A deep understanding of the internals of web browsers, network protocols, and the underlying technologies of the web
A love of debugging and troubleshooting distributed systems and production code
A desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
A degree in Computer Science

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
