YinzCam builds the official mobile apps of 200+ professional sports teams, including those of NFL/NBA/MLS/NHL/LaLiga clubs. These mobile apps have tens of millions of users, who are consuming terabytes of content on a daily basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and enterprising Mobile Analytics Engineer to analyze the mobile analytics data from these 200+ sports team apps.

What you will be doing...
- Running SQL queries on terabytes of data, based on our clients' requests
- Applying machine-learning and statistical algorithms on this data, to look for trends and insights
- Creating analytics reports for sports-team executives
Be our MVP if you have...
- 2 years+ of experience with SQL, relational databases, NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra
- 2 years+ of experience in working with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and other big-data platforms
- 2 years+ of experience with Google Analytics, Firebase
- 2 years+ of experience with AWS cloud services, such as EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
- 2 years+ of experience in Java/C++/Python programming
- Expert programmer and tinkerer, comfortable around operating systems, cloud computing, network protocols
- Willingness to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- Strong desire to learn and grow career
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, with a heavy focus on machine-learning, data science, data engineering.
