We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to design and create marketing collateral (product catalogs, motion graphics, social-media graphics) for our 200+ mobile sports apps. You will be responsible for helping to promote and showcase new apps and new products that we launch every week. This is a 6-month, fully-paid, full-benefits internship position.
The ideal candidate has a passion for digital design, marketing, and sports and wants a career at the intersection of those fields. The candidate should have a passion for graphic design, typography, writing, and visual storytelling for sports. The successful candidate is ambitious and seeks a broader role in the company by being involved in business development and pitches to prospective clients. We are a 24/7/365 global sports entity, so a passion for sports and digital platforms is necessary.

Why this position? With the pandemic, we know that it has been hard for recent graduates to find jobs in the sports industry. Most job opportunities require a wealth of experience to even apply for them, and, as the saying goes, you have to get experience to get experience. This position is intentionally entry-level and for 6 months (along with the salary and benefits that would go to a full-time hire in that role) to staff out specific digital projects. The goal of providing internship positions (rather than hiring full-time staff) is to provide resume-building opportunities and the necessary experience to those whose careers have been impacted by the pandemic. It also gives you a chance to see if a career in the data and analytics side of the sports industry is for you. We don't need you to have a ton of experience. All we ask is that your work ethic is off the charts, that you can learn fast, that you can juggle multiple deadlines and projects, and that you can deliver. On time, and every single time. If there is a mutual fit, the internship opportunity may turn into a full-time, non-internship job with the company. Ideally, you have graduated from school before January 2020, so that we may also consider you for a full-time position after the internship.

- Enjoys creating pitch decks, social-media graphics, and motion graphics

- Creating graphics that showcase clients and products in blog posts and social media
- Creating pitch decks in support of new product and new client opportunities
- Continuously maintaining the company’s brand aesthetics, internally and externally
Be our MVP if you have...
- Experience in creating motion graphics, social-media graphics
- Experience in writing, editing, creating newsletters, brochures, one-sheeters
- Expertise in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma
- Strong work ethic with the ability to get things done and to meet deadlines
- Can thrive in a high energy fast-paced digital environment
- Degree in graphic design, arts, digital media
