Founded in 1968, it has grown to over 4 million participants competing in 13 nationally sanctioned sports. We are a growing organization that in necessity must expand our National Event locations and workforce to accommodate the growing number of teams and athletes qualifying to participate.
Time Period
Unpaid Internship will span over (3 months – 5/12 – 8/12 or 6 months 5/12 – 12 / 12)
Professional Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a relevant major, such as Turf Management, Sports Management, Sports Marketing, Recreation & Parks Management, etc..
- A candidate that has recently graduated in these related fields and seeking experience may also be selected.

Attire
- Comfortable, appropriate office/field attire is acceptable. No sweat pants or gym attire.
Job Responsibilities:
- As a Sports Facility Management Intern, you will work directly with the Facilities Team at the Space Coast Complex, an 85 acre baseball and softball specific complex consisting of 15 all synthetic turf fields, 2 stadiums and accompanying office and support structures.
- Interns will participate in all levels of the operation, from working directly on the turf to assisting with facility project coordination and event day support.
- Interns will use turf equipment, hand equipment and utility vehicles. Interns must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Work is largely outdoors in hot conditions.
