Job Summary
 
Trilogy Lacrosse is looking for a dynamic individual, with a passion for Lacrosse education, to support our mission in the role of Operations Manager. This individual will be responsible for playing an integral role in the back-end operations of our company and have an opportunity to make a positive impact on thousands of players and families each year. They will serve as the operations leader for girls and boys camps, aces events, showcases and our winter box lacrosse program, and play a supporting role on our Spring Break Training program in March. This position will manage inbound customer service for the company as a whole and work with different stakeholders including event participants, facility managers, Trilogy event staff and 3rd party vendors. This position is based in Summit, NJ. Travel and weekend work is required based on event calendar.

Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Lead operations for girls and boys camps, aces events, showcases and our winter box lacrosse program
  • Manage all pre-event parent communication for specific Trilogy events, including creation and distribution of thorough pre-event events manuals to ensure parents are prepared well in advance of events
  • Execute movement of supplies during the busy summer months to ensure all event directors have necessary materials and information on site to run excellent events
  • Coordinate with host facility managers to ensure a seamless experience for our families while on site at events
  • Collect and prepare required documentation for any state compliance inspections that occur at events in select states
  • Conduct post-event follow up for all events, including distribution of event surveys and management of any customer service issues, if applicable
  • Support operations at our Spring Break Training program where teams from all over the country travel to participate in a week-long experience in Florida, Nevada, and Arizona
  • Manage primary inbound email account for Trilogy, handling all correspondence and customer service inquiries 
  • Create rooming lists, a critical component of customer experience, at any overnight events
  • Conduct onboarding of all Trilogy independent contractors working events
  • Provide on-site operations support at selected Trilogy events
  • Opportunity to support on field coaching (Girls or Boys) if desired

Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with players, parents and staff
  • Ownership mentality for position related responsibilities and company as a whole
  • Roll-up your sleeves attitude with a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Professional and courteous oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task jobs associated with the position
  • Ability to work independently or within group dynamic
 
 Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years’ work experience in an operations, hospitality, or customer service role
  • Lacrosse playing experience is preferred, but not required
