Job Summary
Trilogy Lacrosse is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for lacrosse to fill the role of Girls Events Manager. This individual will serve as a key team member involved in all aspects of girls events, including sales and operations. This individual must be organized, high-energy, and possess an ownership mentality. This position presents a unique opportunity for an individual to see events through every stage of the process, including initial planning, building relationships via event sales, executing high-level events in-person, and analyzing performance post-event. The ability to direct or serve as an on-field staff member for girls lacrosse events is strongly preferred. This position is based at our office in New Providence, NJ. Travel and weekend work is required based on event calendar.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Close event sales through outreach, specifically phone calls, text messages, emails and meetings
- Manage sales pipeline through accurate data input in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Play a leadership role planning and overseeing the on-site execution of Trilogy girls events that will include select tournaments, camps, showcases, leagues, and our spring break training program
- Create thorough pre-event operations plans to ensure all aspects of our events are executed to a high standard
- Coordinate with host facility managers to ensure a seamless experience for our families while on-site at events

Communicate with coaches, staff, parents and players attending our events to ensure clear and accurate pre-event information is distributed and our staff and families arrive at our events prepared
- Enhance the on-site experience for all coaches, families and athletes attending Trilogy events
- Execute movement of event supplies during the hectic summer months to ensure all event directors have necessary materials and information on-site to run excellent events

Deconflict and troubleshoot issues and adjustments that arise during events
- Use customer feedback to make improvements and recommendations for future event planning
- Conduct market research and data mining to support sales account management and marketing functions
- Support customer experience and overall business administration as needed

Collaborate with the marketing department prior and during events to promote and highlight events
Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including strong Word, Excel, and Powerpoint skills
- Roll-up your sleeves attitude with a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Ability to learn processes and use collaborative tools in a system-based work environment: CRM, Google Docs, etc.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail in communication and record keeping
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with college coaches, program directors, players, parents, and staff
- Strong ability to follow-up and passion to see project through to completion
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently or within group dynamic
- Strong time management and organization skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task jobs associated with the position
- Professional and courteous oral and written communication skills
- Ownership mentality for position-related responsibilities and company as a whole
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years’ work experience in sales, operations, systems or event management experience
- Lacrosse experience, either as industry professional, coach or former student-athlete
