 THE POSITION:  Director of Group Sales 


The Director of Group Sales will play a primary role in developing an overarching group sales strategy across the International Champions Cup and Women’s International Champions Cup properties. This role will work closely with ICC and WICC venues and local partners and report to the VP of Venue Partnerships, Ticket Sale and Operations. 

  • Develop group sales strategy across the International Champions Cup and the Women’s International Champions Cup properties
  • Establish and formalize processes regarding processing of sales through various ticket platforms  
  • Manage local group sales partners including but not limited to ICC venues and MLS clubs  
  • Cultivation of group sales leads through existing and new relationships within various soccer and event going groups across various US markets 
  • Work with the data analytics group to filter leads from the current ICC Database 
  • Assist with designation of group pricing locations and price points as part of an overall sales strategy 
  • Effectively track sales, inventory and customer pipeline updates 
  • Build out group sales experiences with game day experience and venue operations teams 
  • Oversee group sales experiences during matches  
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Ticket Sales Department 
  • 4-6 years of experience in ticket sales with a proven track record or positive annual sales 
  • Experience with live events and / or sports properties with exiting network of contacts in the marketplace 
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, AXS and other ticketing platforms 
  • Flexibility to work across multiple markets, selling various properties 
  • Team player with ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high volume of work.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented with the ability to manage resources effectively while prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
