Prolific 1 is seeking a Director of Collegiate Partnership Development with broad experience to join our Business Development team focused on securing new Sports Partnerships at the Collegiate level. The ideal candidate will have proven success in identifying and securing new business in college sports while also supporting overarching initiatives within the Business Development team. The role will directly report to the EVP of Business Development. 
 
Responsibilities:
  1. Network, prospect and cultivate partnership opportunities at the collegiate level through face to face meetings, phone calls, emails and other means of communication. 
  2. Identify and track emerging markets, venues, teams, schools, and trends in the sports industry and secure meetings for collegiate partnership opportunities. 
  3. Utilize rolodex of sports industry related contacts, specifically at the collegiate level, to present new partnership opportunities and gain referrals. 
  4. Actively manage a pipeline for new opportunities.
  5. Increase top line investments and bottom-line profitability through partner relationships.
  6. Work with current business development and pricing teams to maintain and grow collegiate partnerships currently within our portfolio.
  7. Conduct partner presentations for the new prospects/current collegiate partners, professionally outlining and communicating companies background, strategies, references, tools and philosophy.
  8. Develop customized partner proposals that outline the company’s distinct capabilities, and strategic goals. 
  9. Become an expert on all collegiate partner details and contracts. 
 
Qualifications: 
  1. Proven track record of reaching and exceeding new sales goals with a hunter mentality 
  2. 5+ years of experience in the Sports Ticketing industry focused at the collegiate level 
  3. Pre-existing relationships at the collegiate level to reach out and conduct presentations for within first 90 days
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present internally and externally to leadership 
  5. Brings innovative and analytical mindset, challenges the status quo, while being able to work collaboratively within a team 
  6. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills 
  7. Ability to travel when required
