Team Services and Event Operation’s Seasonal Associate
The Team Services and Event Operations Intern is currently a temporary seasonal non-exempt position reporting to the Team Services and Event Coordinator. The Team Services and Event Operations Intern will assist with team operations and hospitality for University Administration, Student-Athletes, Staff, and participating Conferences, College Football Playoff group and Conference officials for the 2021 PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl. The Team Services and Event Operations Intern will also assist with the planning and execution of the Par 3 Challenge, STEM event, Distribution and Deliveries Department/Warehouse Operations and other game and event related duties as requested. This position requires availability to work nights and weekends, lift a minimum of 25 pounds, standing for long periods of time and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities of this internship will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Create/update informational team manuals for participating teams, conferences, alumni and guests
  • Create schedules and assist with logistics for team site visits and game week events for the participating institutions
  • Work with vendors throughout the request for proposal process; proposal review, contracts, negotiations, compliance, and execution of services
  • Assist with product orders for hospitality and events, distribution and delivery/warehouse logistics and game week transportation
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl Kickoff Dinners
  • Assist with the planning and execution of participating institution hotels to include hospitality suites, décor, and BEO’s
  • Assist in the oversight of participating institution practice facilities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the 2022 STEM Event
  • Assist as needed with other events within the Operations Department
  • Assist with the physical set up and tear down of events
  • Other responsibilities as necessary for the Company’s success.

Additional administrative duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Written and verbal communication, including answering phone calls and emails
  • Communication and coordination with other staff, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, independent contractors and participants
  • Management of contact lists and data-entry
  • Preparation of meeting materials, meeting minutes, and compilation individual event meeting action items
  • Assistance with management of event committees to include Fiesta Bowl committee members and volunteers
  • Assistance with coordination of orders and delivery schedules for events and programs
  • Assistance with moving, storing, organizing, preparing, loading, and unloading event specific items and supplies in the warehouse storage and office storage areas

Qualifications:
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook Email Management
