EVENT:  Univision’s 35th Premio Lo Nuestro
DATE:    Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023
LOCATION:  Formally FTX and American Airlines Arena
REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  Friday, February 3, 2023

TALENT USHERS (TALENT WRANGLERS / ESCORTS) OVERVIEW
Talent Ushers work with the production team to help escort performers and presenters to and from various locations within the venue and on the red carpet. They will interact and get direction from the Talent Logistics Manager, who will introduce them to the production team and instruct them on the operational functions of the venue. This includes routes, dressing rooms, stages, security checkpoints, credentials, artist transportation, media, and more.

This is an amazing opportunity to get a first-hand, behind-the-scenes experience of a live show. Students will learn how to interact with artists and their camps while following a show run-down. They will be required to wear a headset and radio to communicate with the Logistics Team.

The workdays may be very long (6-12 plus hours/day), and the schedule will vary based on the production needs and artist assigned to them. Talent Ushers must not have any commitments on their scheduled rehearsal day or show day.

We invite students interested in becoming a Talent Usher to register for a group interview and responsibilities overview. This session will last approximately 2 ½ hours and is unpaid.  These interviews will be for a seasonal position that pays $13/hour for this event only.

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. with original ID documentation and be vaccinated by February 3, 2023. Proof of vaccination card must be submitted with interview registration.

INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES:
Interviews will be held for this event via ZOOM

  • Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 12:00 PM EST
  • Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 4:00 PM EST

If candidates are chosen to interview, they will receive a confirmation email confirming their selected date and time. On the day of their interview, they will be sent log-in instructions via zoom link one to two hours before their scheduled call time.

The platform will be via ZOOM, so students must have the ZOOM app downloaded to their computer or phone and be familiar with how to use it.

The interview session is NOT a confirmation or guarantee of work.
Once selected, the student will be enrolled in a short online Event Readiness course that can be taken on any device, anytime, anywhere. Lessons included memorizing VIPs and other important information to make for a successful onsite event.
