ABOUT THE ROLE 
As Outlyr continues to expand its event portfolio, the team is looking for a strategic partner services specialist to conceptualize and execute strategic initiatives for several professional golf events across the country. In this role you’ll be responsible for working with various community leadership teams to develop, design and organize partnership development efforts. You’ll help provide creative vision and organizational backbone to support teams across the country. 
 
This is a highly cross-functional role, as you will collaborate across internal teams including, sales & partnerships, marketing & communications, volunteers, operations and finance.
 
The right candidate will be able to work as part of a team, exude strong creative and organizational skills, and offer an extremely detailed work product. High level of oral and written communication skills are required for this position. Extended travel on weekends, evenings and some holiday work may also be required. 
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Create partnership proposals + manage and track partnership inventory 
  • Manage and track end-to-end client activations
  • Plan and process corporate sponsorships and individual client partnerships 
  • Support corporate and community partnerships team with partnership fulfilment 
  • Carry out agreements and ensure accounting/legal compliance including contract and invoice generation
  • Monitor and track status of partnership pipeline and contacts 
  • Develop and grow relationships with event partners from the sale to partnership activation and through post-event follow-up
  • Provide excellent customer service to partners and sponsors 
  • Responsible for tracking, accounting, and distribution of ticket sales and ticketing platform
  • Create post-event client recaps 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in brand management, events, account management or program management for sports league/team, or sports marketing agency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint 
  • Experience with content creation (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Wordpress) 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • History in building positive staff and client relationships, as well as managing “up and down”
  • Collaborative in nature with a “no job is too small” attitude to assist with overall account team duties and additional programs as needed 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • Ability and flexibility to travel and weekend/holiday work as needed, approximately 30% - 40% of the year (travel) 
  • Must be available to work full time in California, with travel to other markets as needed
