The Easton Archery Center of Excellence, located on the campus of the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, is a state-of-the-art archery center, featuring indoor and outdoor ranges, and world-class training facilities. The center provides leadership, programs, training and education that allows archers to pursue their competitive dreams.

Overview: The Center Manager works closely with the Director of Centers to ensure complete oversight and awareness of all center activities. A complete understanding of all center systems and functions is needed for everyday responsibilities. Positive relations with customers, event participants, vendors, visitors, staff, etc. are critical for success. This position will serve in any role as needed and determined by the Director of Centers.

Key Responsibilities:

Center Operations

Responsibilities include:
- Ensure complete accuracy, orderly, and timely use in all areas of the Easton Archery Center of Excellence.
- Work with all customers and staff to effectively schedule and manage usage of the Center.
- Oversee all center operations, programs, and events.
- Oversee all marketing for the promotion and advertising of center events and programs.
- Implement and enforce center rules, regulations, and policies.
- Create and maintain center budget and oversee financial and purchasing decisions.
- Manage daily office duties, record keeping and all accounts payable/receivable.
- Maintain all calendar, website, and social media updates in an expedited manner.
- Become proficient with registration and payment software, including but not limited to program registration, event registration, creation of activities, usage reports and transaction reports.
- Identify and maintain front desk services during normal business hours.
- Assist with program/event planning and implementation (including set-up and tear-down) as directed.
- Recruit, hire and train staff to meet Easton Foundation’s core values
- Travel, as required and approved, to coaching or management seminars/meetings as well as other Easton Foundation functions requiring support services.
- Communicate regularly with Director of Centers and other designated contacts within the organization.

Facility Operations

Responsibilities include:
- Manage and oversee building and grounds maintenance, facility repairs and safety
- Ensure maintenance systems, including but not limited to, generators, elevators, backflows, fire suppression, garbage removal, HVAC, etc. remain complaint with State, County and City testing requirements and ordinances.
- Maintain accurate records of the facility’s health and maintenance needs along with the process needed to meet those needs in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update Safety Manual, IIPP and Disaster Planning annually.
- Work closely with vendors to schedule all required repairs and services.
- Maintain all shipping and receiving needs.
- On-call contact for emergency/security calls.

Key Qualifications:

Possess or be willing to obtain USA Archery level 2 instructor certification, SafeSport, CPR, First Aid, and any additional training required (training provided).
Possess or be willing to obtain USA Archery judge certification
Managing experience - 2 years minimum
Customer service experience - 5 years minimum
Youth sport programming experience preferred
Archery event experience preferred
Strong leadership qualities
