Facility Operations/Event Staff: Cashier
The Visitor Relations Associate provides customer service in the CVEATC Team Shop, assisting in the sale of merchandise and memorabilia.  The Visitor Relations Associate guides customers as needed in the purchase selection and process while maintaining the cash register, ringing sales, and reconciling the register.  The Visitor Relations Associate will provide guests tours of CVEATC and assist with onsite and offsite events.

Essential Duties
  •  Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and Holiday’s to fulfill client program needs 
  • Assist Visitor Relations Manager in achievement of store sales performance goals.
  • Provide memorable customer service and processes daily sales transactions.
  • Receive, price and stock merchandise using store procedures and standards.
  • Keep the store (i.e. floors, fixtures) and the merchandise clean and organized.
  • Daily/weekly/monthly sales and inventory reporting as required by Visitor Relations Manager
  • Maintain tour schedule to ensure no overbooking and invoice appropriately.
  • Follow tour script to lead tour groups and give information regarding the training facility
  • Assist with duties during special events (both onsite and offsite)
  • Follow all safety practices policies and procedures.

  • Retail experience is desired
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of various shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic user of MS Office.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, including the scheduling of CVEATC tours.
  • Will facilitate interactive tours of CVEATC to visitors, school groups, including walk-in, reserved, private and event tours.
  • Excellent communication skills: 
    • Ability speak fluent English in order to communicate orally. 
    • Ability to learn and memorize scripted tours and routes as assigned. 
    • Able to speak confidently to both small and large groups. 
  • Ability to walk for long periods of time and tolerate a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Proven ability to manage a variety of tasks and meet multiple demands in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Must foster a professional attitude and demonstrate integrity and flexibility.
