JOB TITLE: Ticket Sales Manager

  • BA/BS degree and 2-4 years related experience leading a sales team selling season, group and hospitality sales at a sports or event facility.
  • Knowledge of is preferred, but not required.


Position Summary: Chicago House Athletic Club is a new professional soccer team representing Chicago and Illinois about to compete in the rapidly-expanding National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) league. The club has enjoyed a successful launch and is currently building for further success in the local, regional, and national market.

Chicago House AC is currently seeking to recruit a highly energetic, self-motivated, full-time Ticket Sales Manager to lead our ticket sales and fan service efforts. Working in a small team and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the ideal candidate will be a “sales focused” producer whose core responsibility will be to identify, develop and close on new business and led the sales team to reach and exceed sales goals in season, group and hospitality sales.

  • Serve as reporting manager for all ticket sales representatives. Lead, mentor, manage, and train sales team
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one and review meetings with all direct reports
  • Assist in hiring and training of new employees
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of sales representatives, track call volume and productivity
  • Assist in developing sales initiatives
  • Oversee management and growth strategies of group ticket programs and accounts
  • Research and organize sales leads
  • Provide sales tracking reports on a daily and weekly basis
  • Make sales calls to top prospects
  • Renew and service ticket accounts
  • Manage gameday hospitality sheets
  • Work House home games and attend other House events
  • Serve as Manager on Duty during House home games and events for ticket related questions
  • Guide and manage fan service and customer relationships and follow up
  • Provide unsurpassed customer service for all clients

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of prior sports ticket sales.
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and lead a sales team. Effectively influence and communicate with C-Level executives.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous working experience with HubSpot CRM and is a plus
  • Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Competitive base salary plus commission and bonus

Terms: This is a full-time position and employee will serve on an at will basis.

  • Benefits: Two weeks per year of paid vacation, such vacation time not to be cumulative (i.e., vacation time not taken in one year shall expire and will not be carried forward and used in any subsequent year).  An additional 5 days of vacation are provided solely between Christmas and New Years.
