Job Title: Ticket Sales Account Executive
Department: Ticket Sales
Reports To: CRO
The Ticket Sales Account Executive will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be focused on the sale of Season, Group and Partial Plan ticket sales and renewals.  In addition, you will be expected to seek referrals from your customers as you build your book on business.
Chicago House AC Ticket Sales Account Executives should at all times demonstrate outstanding customer service, developing personal and long term relationships with their clients, and proactively overcoming objections and challenges that may hinder their clients’ likelihood of purchase and renewal. Relationships will be built through systematic and meaningful contact including outbound calls, out-of-office face to face appointments, personalized letters, game day seat visits, customized emails, prompt responses to inbound calls, and other special team-related events. Chicago House AC Ticket Sales Account Executives will be trained in ticket sales and services and must be experts in all facets of best practice in ticket sales and services.
A core function of Chicago House AC Ticket Sales Account Executives is proactively and aggressively generating new revenue through each Season Ticket Member via ticket add-ons, upselling, cross-selling, and generating referrals. Members of the Service Team will also provide support to the Jacksonville Armada FC’s ticket services team by performing vital day-to-day functions, as assigned, that position the team for continued growth including but not limited to outbound sales calls, sales and service meetings and events. 
Ultimately each Jacksonville Armada FC Ticket Membership and Service Representative will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Jacksonville Armada FC season ticket revenue and renewing and increasing that portfolio by providing a service level that is of the highest standard.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Inventory which is available for sale from the Chicago House AC Ticket Sales Account Executives include, but not limited to: 
    • Season tickets
    • Group tickets
    • Partial/Mini-Plan ticket packages
  •  Sell and renew Chicago House season, group and partial plan tickets
  • Develop and maintain positive personal relationships via out-bound calls, out-of-office face to face appointments, personalized letters and emails
  • Make a minimum number of touch points per Season Ticket account per year, depending upon profile of each account
  • Provide prompt, thorough, and courteous responses to all inbound customer communication – phone calls, emails, mail, etc.
  • Implement and execute all amenities, benefits, and events for Season Ticket Members and Group Sales
  • Respond to all Season Ticket Member, Group Sales and Partial Plans service needs such as customer service issues, ticket exchange and add-on requests, financial billing, and other ticketing and team-related questions
  • Utilize CRM system to track and report progress of relationships with ticket holders, as well as to ensure client profiles are always up-to-date
  • Create, manage, and analyze all data from ticket sales surveys to improve department efficiency, retention rates, and customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
  • Support and help develop the season ticket retention program, with special attention to new season ticket and high-risk accounts. Maximize Season Ticket Member renewal percentage by providing outstanding customer service to assigned accounts via all touch points
  • Responsible for a new business sales goal that is obtained by generating referrals upselling current accounts Season Ticket Memberships, Groups and Partial Plans
  • Meet and exceed established annual renewal and sales goals
  • Educate account base on Membership benefits
  • Update and maintain accurate records in CRM regarding all renewals, touch points and sales
  • Become familiar with and expert in using the club’s ticketing system
  • Manage and address all inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
  • Convey clear, accurate information to all ticket purchasers
  • Attend, plan and participate in STM events, experiences and other benefits
  • Visit ticket buyers on game days to build and maintain relationships
  • Game day duties include: in-seat visits to Season Ticket Members; executing STM events and game day experiences and addressing any Season Ticket Member problems or concerns
  • Generate new revenue referrals through up-selling, cross-selling, and uncovering account referrals
  • Take part in department-wide outbound call campaigns
  • Review and document season ticket member complaints
  • Proactively build service and experience networks and database of ideas
  • Other duties as assigned by the CRO and other sales and service managers
  • Employee is expected to work all Chicago House AC home soccer matches. Up to 20 home games will be hosted at SeatGeek Stadium and are usually on weekend evenings or weeknights.
  • To follow scripts and instructions provided by the sales trainer and management
  • Make a minimum of 50 calls per day 
  • Accurately record your call history in the ticket system
  • Use the ticket system to manage all leads
  • Seek referrals on every call
  • Participate in team sales training and sales development sessions
  • Attend any team functions you are invited to  
  • Other duties as described by the Chief Revenue Officer
  • Submit Daily tracking numbers including:
  • Calls
  • Contracts In (# & $)
  • Contracts Out (# & $)
  • Submit Weekly Sales Reports including: 
    • YTD Revenue 
    • Weekly Revenue 
    • Contracts Out (# & $) 
    • Call-In Revenue YTD 
    • Calls 
    • Hot List 
    • Total # of Mini and Flex Packs 
Sponsorship agreements – you will not be commissioned on sponsorship agreements unless this has been pre-determined by the Chief Revenue Officer.  In any of these agreements you will receive commission for the ticket portion of the contract, but not for the advertising elements.  The ticket portion will count towards your sales goal, but the advertising will not.  

There may also be clients that are shared with other staff members.  The expectation is that the commission for these accounts will be split equitably among the employees involved with the agreement.

Disputes: Any commission disputes will be decided by the Chief Revenue Officer.     

Commission Guidelines: You will be provided with a copy of the club’s current sales commission guidelines by the CRO

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Business or Sport Management preferred; 
  • Minimum of two years of successful sales while exceeding required revenue requirements. 
  • Sports experience with business side of professional, minor league, or college teams preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication Skills:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, financials or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. 
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
  • Knowledge of CRM and club ticketing system or other database ticketing systems preferred; 
  • Must have proficient experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook and related software skills

Payroll is paid every two weeks on Friday.  A portion of your commission will be paid during the season and the remainder will be paid no later than 30 days following the season as long as all of the accounts are paid in full.

TERMS: This is a full-time position and employee will serve on an at will basis.

  • Benefits: Two weeks per year of paid vacation, such vacation time not to be cumulative (i.e., vacation time not taken in one year shall expire and will not be carried forward and used in any subsequent year).  An additional 5 days of vacation are provided solely between Christmas and New Years.  
  • Health and/or dental insurance, including immediate coverage for Employee and family shall be offered to Employee and family in accordance with the terms and provisions of the benefits plans established by Employer.

RETIREMENT: If the team institutes an IRA program, you will be eligible for an IRA retirement account after one continuous year of full-time employment.
