Technical Services: Audio/Video Editing and Production
Position Purpose:
Editing video for long and short form programming series for multi-platform distribution.  Ingest and maintain material in company’s Media Asset Management System. Ability to work closely with the series producer to edit multiple series in a timely manner while maintaining organization. Also be able to assist in lighting & shooting scenes when needed. Execute clipping of archival material from MAMS and uploading of same to multiple users. Proficiency in Adobe Suite is a requirement for this role. Candidate with strong automotive knowledge is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to produce (with provided editorial guidance) professional quality video projects on tight timeline under extreme pressure. 
  • Overall understanding of providing a finished product that is consistent in storylines, continuity and messaging throughout the series and within each episode.
  • High attention to detail in work
  • Ability to work in “unsupervised” edit to producer’s specifications, ability to interact with all levels of personnel and “celebrity” personalities.
  • Willing to work extended and irregular hours
  • Knowledge & Ability to compose a shot and light cars
  • Aptitude to shoot/produce content by yourself and as a team
  • Ability to adapt content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Stories, TikTok)
  • Work with a team to achieve goals on a constantly moving deadline and turning around content in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to manage/backup your media on a Media Server as you work
  • Audio capture knowledge a plus 
  • Knowledge of automotive industry, automobiles and collector vehicles required
  • Creative thinker that can understand the overall strategy of content (i.e. development, distribution, engagement and monetization) as well as contribute to overall growth of the department.

Experience and/or Education:
  • Knowledge of automotive industry, automobiles, and collector vehicles
  • Highly proficient in motion graphics and creating graphics packages
  • Minimum three to four year’s experience editing digital series and/or linear programing
  • Experience with Sony FS7 & A7sii cameras
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere & After Effects
  • High end video shooting and editing
  • experience with state-of-the-art video acquisition up to and including 4k
  • Prior experience using digital asset management systems
  • A network of freelance shooters, editors, on-air talent a plus
