Position Purpose:
Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives set for each live auction event. Interacts with existing and potential exhibitors to ensure effective communication and fulfillment. Aids in marketing, sales, exhibitors relations, record keeping, communication, processing payments and collections, and exhibitors-related site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with IT and Customer Service Departments to produce exhibitors mailings.
- Assist exhibitors Manager in processing exhibitors applications and assessing priority for placement.
- Help to develop and implement criteria for “jurying” exhibitors displays for select premium areas in site plan.
- Communicate with exhibitors s to keep them informed as to status of their space requests, and assure that required forms are received on a timely basis.
- Data entry into exhibitors database to update customer contact information and event-specific placement and payment history.
- Point of contact for city/tax representatives for each auction.
- Work with contracts administrator to track COI/Waivers/Auto Insurance.
- Process exhibitors payments and prepare deposit reports for management.
- Interact with exhibitors s during events to solve problems and enhance relations.
- Assist exhibitors Manager in post-event reconciliation of exhibitors records and revenue.
- Responsible for exhibitors /sponsor check-in during events.
- Liaison between event exhibitors and Barrett-Jackson.
