About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our All-Star Restaurant Management Team and oversee our fine dining restaurant. The Restaurant General Manager will play a critical role in managing the operations of our restaurant, which seats up to nearly 1,000 guests at a time!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train, mentor, and provide feedback to FOH and BOH personnel, promoting a culture of excellent service.
  • Manage and monitor the restaurant budget, financial plans, and staff scheduling to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, health and safety legislation/guidelines, and company policies.
  • Review product quality regularly and conduct research to identify new vendors if necessary.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef on menu creation based on seasonal availability and customer feedback.
  • Address and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally, turning dissatisfied guests into regular patrons.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, development, and retention strategies to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant's online and offline visibility and reputation.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Regularly review and analyze key performance indicators and sales data to make informed business decisions.
  • Foster a work environment that encourages creativity, team effort, and high performance.
  • Stay informed about market trends and implement best practices in restaurant management.
  • Work with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure the restaurant is always clean, safe, and ready for service.

About You:
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a high-volume upscale dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.
