The Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing team and venue accounts. The Account Manager will cultivate relationships with key account personnel to maintain and optimize account performance, identify opportunities to grow accounts, and provide valuable insight to our Business Development team for decision making. The Account Manager is a remote position and will work under the guidance of the Vice President of Business Operations and the Director of Account Management.
Effectively manage portfolio of existing professional and minor league sports teams accounts
Cultivate relationships with clients through phone calls, video conferencing, SMS, email, and in-person meetings
Manage account inventory, identify opportunities to add inventory, and provide pricing strategies and recommendations
Consistently communicate with clients to build relationships and improve customer experience and account performance
Successfully execute sales, renewals, and various account management campaigns
Assist operations and customer service efforts
Consistently achieve and surpass activity metrics and objectives
Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, or related field
Previous sales and/or account management experience within the sports industry preferred
Proficiency in basic software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with CRM/Salesforce
Attention to detail with strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and thrive in a changing environment
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Self-motivated and ability to work as a team member in a complex organization
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic paired with outstanding time management, organizational and analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to listen, identify, and resolve issues

$75K annual target compensation calculated using generous base salary and performance bonuses
