The Company:
Foley Entertainment Group oversees the operations of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights, the Vegas Knight Hawks of the Indoor Football League, The Dollar Loan Center and several other entertainment and hospitality-focused entities.

Essential Functions:
The Vegas Golden Knights Vice President, Marketing will be responsible for leading the research, development and execution of all strategic marketing efforts for the Vegas Golden Knights including brand identity and positioning, digital marketing, paid media, grassroots marketing, game day marketing and events. The position will collaborate with a diverse group of important internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

The Vice President, Marketing will be a key organizational thought leader who will work closely with the team’s Chief Marketing Officer for the development and management of a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Vegas Golden Knights. This position will directly supervise full time and part time linemates on the VGK Marketing Team and provide guidance and leadership to the marketing team of the Foley Entertainment Group’s other sports entities the Henderson Silver Knights and Vegas Knight Hawks.


Primary Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy
-Collaborate with Chief Marketing Officer on developing, facilitating, executing, analyzing and adapting annual marketing plans for the Golden Knights to accomplish strategic brand objectives and fan development benchmarks.
-Conceptualize, manage, schedule and execute game day marketing activations (including promotions and giveaways) and in-season grassroots fan development programs
-Oversee and implement traditional advertising campaigns
-Oversee and implement digital marketing campaigns and paid social campaigns
-Track effectiveness of tactical executions, modify strategies and optimize.
-Continuously look for innovative marketing opportunities which support the strategic goals of the Golden Knights.

Brand Strategy
-Collaborate with Chief Marketing Officer and Creative Director on overall brand look and feel and annual brand campaigns
-Ensure the brand is properly and consistently represented in all internal and external uses, including e-mail, print, digital and advertising.
-Help lead creation and execution of brand guidelines and style guides
-Work closely with VGK Entertainment Team to bring the brand look and feel to life in-arena and enhance the overall fan experience during Golden Knights home games

Internal Collaboration and Support
-Liaise with VGK Foundation Team and VGK Community Relations Team on cross-promotion, support and amplification for CR initiatives and programs
-Work with VGK business teams (including Ticketing and Partnerships) on supporting organization-wide and business team-wide objectives from a marketing perspective
-Collaborate with Strategy and Analytics team on digital and paid social campaigns and analysis
-Work with Retail team on identifying opportunities for marketing support to help drive merchandise sales
-Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders which enhance mutual understanding and respect in order to achieve strategic marketing goals
-Help lead marketing intern program and recruitment

Key Competencies and Experience:
-10+ years in a marketing role at a senior level in the sports, media, or entertainment industries.
-Demonstrates excellent speaking, writing and editing abilities, thought leadership, innovation and creativity.
-Extensive experience in executing digital marketing and paid social campaigns.
-A high-level strategist who can create and execute a company-wide vision.
-Deep understanding of the modern marketing landscape and passion for emerging technology and ideas.
-A role model, leading by example, and maintaining a positive, open, friendly and respectful attitude, with high ethical standards, and an appropriate professional demeanor.
-Someone with excellent judgment, who listens well, implements effective, efficient solutions to problems and earns the respect necessary to implement changes to better the organization.
-An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
-An excellent facilitator who is experienced in resolving conflicts between parties to a dispute.

Travel:
-Work-related travel as assigned

Schedule Overview:
This is not a 9-5, 40-hour a week job, the selected candidate must be prepared to work nights, weekends and holidays, and is expected to attend all VGK home games
