Ticket Operations: Box Office Management
Oversee all aspects of the H-E-B Center Box Office operations by performing the following responsibilities and others that may arise:
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Serve as main ticketing contact for hockey, concerts, family shows and basketball; overseeing event builds in ticketing system and complete inventory management for H-E-B Center Box Office
  • Participate in night of show event settlements by providing accurate ticketing reports to Accounting
  • Produce event scaling maps as directed by General Manager for venue booking offers
  • Supervise Full Time Box Office Manager and Part Time Ticket Sellers; including the hiring, instructing, and training of Part Time ticket Sellers
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Box Office and patrons, ushers, and security by providing assistance with seating or ticket issues during events
  • Forecast event sales and work directly with Marketing department on ticketing campaigns
  • Conduct daily financial reporting functions by ensuring full and accurate accountability for all ticket sales by event 
  • Process group sales orders, ticket requests and internal complimentary ticket requests for all events
  • Manage parking events through ParkWhiz and the relationship between H-E-B Center events and the 3rd Party Parking Contractor, LAZ
 
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or Associate degree preferred
  • A minimum 2 years of experience working with Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, AXS or similar ticketing system is required
  • A minimum 2 years running a Box Office in a similar sports and entertainment setting is required
  • Possess a team oriented attitude, strong relationship building skills and always conducts in a professional demeanor 
  • Requires a high level of communication with Event Services, Booking and Marketing departments
  • Experience with computer processing and spreadsheet programs preferably Microsoft Office software
  • Work requires the ability to read reports, audits and directions
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, extensive customer service skills
  • Demonstrated work ethic with an innate sense of urgency and tenacity
  • Strong ability to adapt to changes, work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results in a fast paced environment
  • This position requires working nights, weekends and holidays as necessary
