The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL Philadelphia Flyers is located in the Lehigh Valley of Eastern PA, which is strategically located within a short drive between New York City and Philadelphia.  The Phantoms are currently in their 6th Season and are consistently one of the leaders in the American Hockey League in attendance, Season Ticket Base and Group Sales.

The Phantoms Play in the new, state-of-the-art PPL Center, which is the Catalyst to a major $1B + City Revitalization Project in downtown Allentown.  Allentown is the 3rd largest City in Pennsylvania and has recently been selected by Fortune Magazine as having one of the Up and Coming Downtown's.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service position is a key member of the Senior Leadership, reporting to the EVP and President/Owner of the Team.  The VP will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan that focuses on revenue and profitability growth encompassing  all ticket sales, including season tickets, group tickets, and advance individual tickets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the development and implementation of all ticket sales categories, including new season tickets, group tickets and individual tickets, as well as retention and renewal efforts.
  • Develop and execute approved Annual Business and Sales Plan and Operating Budget
  • Recruit and hire and strong sales team, developing them and retaining them to grow within the company
  • Formulate a strong department structure where sales goals are clearly communicated and performance is followed up on with appropriate feedback
  • Setup and implement a positive high performance selling culture
  • Develop and implement sales and service training programs
  • Work with Marketing team to collaboratively plan ticket sales and retention campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven Sales Leader
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years of tickets sales experience in a sports setting
  • 2+ years of management experience in a successful sales structure that has dedicated Season Ticket Sales, Retention and Group sales units
  • Experience with Salesforce (CRM) and the ability to integrate Salesforce with ticketing system (Paciolan experience is a bonus)
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed
