Join the Iowa Wild with this opportunity to manage the Iowa Wild merchandise department and assist in many other areas of business. The Manager, Merchandise & Operations is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Merchandise

Communicate weekly with merchandise vendor; submit orders for all merchandise needs.
Set-up and breakdown of team store and kiosk locations, as necessary.
Develop and execute a plan for selling and promotion of team merchandise. Merchandise is available online or at team store location on game nights.
Create and implement a marketing plan working with vendor, and other departments including social media, and corporate sales.
Set pricing, select display merchandise, oversee game day set-up/breakdown, and coordinate daily inventory.
Assist with hiring, scheduling, and merchandise revenue through online stores, as well as internal and community based sales efforts.

Operations

Individual will oversee a number of responsibilities for sales, marketing, and operations departments to support Iowa Wild staff sales efforts by maximizing office efficiency.
In-office requirements may include but are not limited to: taking and processing orders, checking office voicemail, and organizing office space.
Game day tasks include preparing game day staffing, riders, and set-up of sales tables and arena suites.
Facilitate communication within various departments of the organization to assure requests and needs are fulfilled.
Coordinate various groups on Iowa Wild game days, in addition to off-site events.
Complete special projects and additional tasks as given.
Possess the highest level of customer service and will help maintain positive relationships with fans and corporate partners, both on and off site.

Qualifications:

1.Education

College graduate required, or equivalent education and related sales experience.

2.Knowledge & Experience:

Experience working in the sports industry.
Experience with merchandising and retail sales. Retail marketing is a plus.
Prior knowledge of ticket operations and ticketing systems is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.

Work is primarily sedentary in nature. Some physical requirements include, sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
