Hershey Entertainment & Resorts has an exciting opportunity open for a Marketing Manager to manage the marketing, promotions, and public relations efforts for the Hershey Bears Hockey Club along with events at the Giant Center, Hersheypark Stadium, the Hersheypark Arena and the Hershey Theatre. In this role, the Marketing Manager will use their expertise, creativity, and enthusiasm for sports and entertainment to support our goal of providing a quality guest experience. We are seeking candidates who possess excellent communication skills, a desire to develop relationships, and a passion for the industry.

Job Functions:

Develop the overall marketing and promotions for the Hershey Bears.
Manage the planning, preparation, and development of all media efforts for the Hershey Bears.
Develop and expand the promotional efforts for the Hershey Bears by working with Corporate Partnerships Department to leverage existing sponsorship relationships into marketing partnerships.
Partner and expand the retail promotional efforts for the Hershey Bears.
Work closely with concert and event promoters, show publicists, and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts team members to plan mutually beneficial promotional schedules for all concerts, shows, and events at Hersheypark Entertainment Complex.
Ensure that media promotions are executed in all markets and mediums to maximize the media buy to its greatest effectiveness, and increase levels of public awareness of events and activities.
Oversee the planning and coordination of all on-site promotions and events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
Minimum of 1-3 years supervisory / management experience
Effective verbal and written communication
Proven ability reflecting initiative, motivation, organization, innovation and follow through

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including working on some weekends, nights and holidays
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions
