Ticket Sales and Services: Client Relations/Customer Service
POSITION TITLE: Manager of Ticket Sales
REPORTS TO:  VP of Business Operations
DEPARTMENT:  Hartford Wolf Pack
COMPANY:     Spectra Venue Management
LOCATION:    XL Center
STATUS:          Salary, Exempt
To be the top contributor to the department and lead the department to the next level.  This person will be a key contributor to retention and new business and help the VP of Business Operations develop a detailed business plan for this department, to achieve an increase Sales in both FSE and groups
  • Responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of Hartford Wolf Pack ticket packages including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and individual game tickets
  • Use cold calling, appointments and social selling as tools to sell season, group & partial plan ticket packages
  • Help develop a touchpoint campaign for current ticket holders
  • Help develop, train and manage sales staff of up to 8 reps 
  • Call past customers and new customers to generate group ticket revenue
  • Handle incoming sales calls from prospective clients for all ticket packages
  • Participate in outside networking events to develop additional business relationships for new leads
  • Establish professional relationships with clients to create repeat business & provide superior customer service
  • Meet or exceed appointed sales goals for all ticket packages
  • Track and manage weekly sales leads and activities, and overall sales, using CRM-Salesforce
  • Staff all home games to assist ticket sales promotional programs for current season ticket holders
  • Handle special projects related to the department as assigned
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university in a related field required
  • Minimum of four years sales experience, preferably in sports/entertainment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language required
  • Familiarity with Paciolan and (CRM) preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner
  • Superior time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including event nights/weekends as required, in addition to traditional business hours
  • Must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude, with the ability to handle multiple assignments under pressure
  • Must have strong attention to detail, be highly organized and have an ability to actively listen
