The Belleville Senators are seeking an experienced marketer to oversee the strategic development and application of the team’s brand. The individual will be responsible for leveraging this identity to support all faucets of the organization, including ticketing, corporate partnerships, game presentation, merchandise, team services, special events and community relations. This requires working in a cross-functional capacity to ensure all departmental needs are supported while overall consistency is maintained. The individual will be responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities, planning and managing project timelines and resources, and executing tactically toward key objectives. The position exists within the Department of Business Development and will report directly to the Senior Manager, Business Development.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Working with data to develop insights into the motivational factors that drive fan behavior
  • Identifying opportunities to effectively engage and entice a variety of consumer segments
  • Developing clear and detailed marketing plans with measureable return on investment
  • Overseeing the execution of all campaign tactics, including radio, email, paid and organic social media, digital placement and search advertising, building signage and print collateral, among others
  • Organizing and orchestrating all campaign requirements, including copy and creative elements
  • Effectively developing leads and evaluating campaigns through the lens of revenue generation
  • Maintaining an appropriate budget and delivering upon specific timelines
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • University/College Degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a marketing role at a major brand, agency or property
  • Affluence in digital marketing, including conversion tracking from email, social, display and search
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager and Adwords, Facebook and Twitter Ads, and Wordpress
  • Graphic design skills, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, considered an asset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as relationship management skills
  • Effective organization and prioritization, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands
  • A strong work ethic and desire to build a career in the professional sports industry
  • Able to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and game days as needed
  • An entirely professional attitude and demeanor at all times
