Job Summary: 
The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage the recruitment and retention strategy of the organization to attract, evaluate, hire and retain top talent. They will also be responsible for building a strong employment brand and ensuring the employee and candidate experience is world-class plus. This role will partner and support the Arena Operations functions focusing mainly on staffing part-time open positions including Facility Services, Engineering, Security, Guest Experience, Ice Crew, IT/AV, Retail and the Ticket Office at both Amalie Arena & Yuengling Center.  The position will also assist with employee relations issues, retention strategies, human resources compliance and community outreach to grow our employment brand both locally and in the sports and entertainment industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Talent Management (80%)
•    Oversee the staffing process by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, and to create compliant job descriptions; provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers through employment data, metrics, and best practices
•    Enhance the recruitment process through development of innovative, creative, and proactive recruiting strategies to meet the business needs of each assigned department
•    Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies attract diverse candidates
•    Provide full cycle recruiting to ensure a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates (including posting positions internally and on job boards/LinkedIn/Industry sites, review applications, phone screen, select candidates, manage scheduling and logistics of interview process including panel interviews 
•    Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation of candidate and recruiting activities to ensure company and legal compliance with employment best practices, policies, processes and applicable laws
•    Prepare candidates’ logistics and interview schedules
•    Provide subject matter expertise in all staffing policies and processes and maintain knowledge
of all employment regulations
•    Oversee the new hire paperwork process, ensuring consistency and accuracy
•    Develop innovative and creative strategies for job fairs, hiring events and community outreach for the large volume of seasonal hiring
•    Develop a recruitment marketing strategy to grow our brand in the market both locally and regionally
•    Leverage various resources to source qualified candidates including the internet, job fairs, community-based organizations, print media, formal/informal networks and sports/entertainment network
•    Manage the weekly/quarterly staffing and requisition reports
•    Develop strategies to have touchpoints with new hires to check-in on their onboarding experience

Employee Relations & HR Administration (20%)
•    Provide Employee Relations guidance to managers and staff, conduct investigations if necessary
•    Conduct exit interviews when necessary and analyze trends 
•    Utilize ABI/Workday analytics to identify trends and projections of workforce 
•    Special projects and other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required, HR Certifications preferred
•    Three (3) to Five (5) plus years Human Resources experience to include full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, human resources compliance preferred
•    Ability to build credibility and establish trust among coworkers and management 
•    Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism and service to both internal and external stakeholders
•    Ability to strategize and forecast future results using data and analytics
•    Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with staff and communicate effectively with multiple audiences
•    Ability to work independently and as a team member
•    Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously
•    Self-motivated, with ability to work with little direct supervision
•    Excellent communication skills (oral and written); Ability to create and present effective presentations 
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment 
•    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) required; ABI/Workday experience preferred
•    Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required
