Ticket Sales and Service Internship
The Macon Mayhem are seeking a college student looking to gain experience in the highly competitive field of sports business. We are looking for an intern that is willing to go above and beyond what is asked of them on a daily basis. We are looking for a strong and independent worker that can handle a wide variety of tasks. We ask for dependability and commitment, as we will work together as a team.
Must be local and able to work Macon Mayhem Games within the 2023-2024 Season.
What You Will Learn/Do:
- Answer phones and handle customer questions effectively.
- Make cold calls.
- Generate qualified leads.
- Demonstrate the ability to assist the Marketing and Sales team with customer outreach efforts.
- Comprehensive Customer Service.
- Data entry and database maintenance.
- Attend philanthropic events.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Background in Sports Administration, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or other related discipline.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to learn sales.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office.
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
- High level of comfort working with clients.
- Database and contact list management.
- Familiarity with TicketMaster One is preferred, but we will also train.
