About the Role
The individual hired will work on partnership management initiatives for the New York Islanders and UBS Arena Global Partnerships and Marketing group. This position will support the day-to-day management of the partnership portfolio, managing all contractually obligated income (COI) of assigned accounts, including strategy, partnership execution upsells and renewals. We are looking for a hard-working, proactive, creative individual with leadership experience at a sports and entertainment property or agency.
While You’re Here, You Will:
- Be responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Partnership Management team as a senior member of the Global Partnerships and Marketing management team.
- The core responsibilities of Partnership Marketing are partner engagement, management, strategy, execution, upsells and renewals for all partnerships of the New York Islanders and UBS Arena leading with core organization tenants of communication, collaboration, and respect.
- Deliver best-in-class account management service by leading the planning and execution of sponsors’ contractual elements, including, but not limited to, traditional media assets, promotions, in-arena activation, hospitality, experiential, and community programs.
- Use a variety of methods and resources to creatively engage with, and enhance partner relationships, while implementing industry knowledge and brand awareness to overcome challenges, create business opportunities, and exceed company objectives.
- Assist in overall department revenue goals through current sponsor partnership renewals and upsell opportunities.
- Work closely with internal departments (legal, finance, marketing, community relations, etc.) on partner needs.
- Responsible for the budgets contractual partners revenue and deliverables being activated.
- Manage a team of 10-12 employees and the over all expense budgets for partner fulfillment and operations.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 15+ years of professional experience.

- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, KORE Software (or similar platform), and a myriad of third-party research.
