Our Game Plan:
The New York Islanders Hockey Club is an iconic team with a deeply passionate and loyal fanbase.  We won four consecutive Stanley Cups in the early 1980s and are well on our way to add to that legacy. The next few years will be action-packed as we complete our new arena, reposition our brand, and prepare to reclaim the Stanley Cup.  UBS Arena at Belmont Park is the first third generation arena in the industry and future home to New York Islanders.   At nearly 900,000 square feet, UBS Arena is being “Built for Hockey. Made for Music” and will seat up to 19,000 visitors.    
 
How to Make the Team:
The New York Islanders are seeking an Administrator of CRM to work within the Strategy & Analytics department. This individual will oversee the operation, strategy, and continued development of the Salesforce CRM system, directly supporting sales and marketing efforts across the organization.
 
Show Us You Can:
  • Support sales campaigns by managing leads and opportunities in the system 
  • Drive improvements to the system based on observation, research, and user feedback (e.g., process adjustments, design upgrades)
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Assist users of the Salesforce system from each department with requests, troubleshooting, and support
  • Lead the onboarding and training process for new users 
  • Manage any operational changes to the system (e.g., adding a field or event)
  • Work alongside the marketing team on customer email journeys and campaigns
  • Support the integration of CRM with other systems and platforms  
  • Review regular reporting outputs with each department to ensure accuracy, identify key insights, and support rep adoption

Your Training and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 2 - 5 years of Salesforce Administrative experience and/or other relational databases
  • Salesforce.com or Microsoft Dynamics administrator certification
  • Experience implementing and utilizing Salesforce CRM software
  • Superior knowledge of CRM business processes and CRM best practices
  • An understanding of systems architecture and database design
  • Experience with Ticketmaster ticketing systems, including Archtics, a plus
  • Experience with KORE partnership platform a plus
  • Proficient in Tableau, SQL, and Apex
 
Where You’ll Go:
You will primarily report to our Floral Park, NY office, along with:
  • Attending home games and other events (events can fall on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)
  • Traveling on occasion with the possibility of air travel and/or an overnight stay (<5% travel)
