Job Title: Season Ticket Retention Specialist 
Position: Full Time, Salary plus benefits 
Location: Bridgeport, CT
Experience Desired: 2+ years
The Connecticut Islanders, LLC (dba Bridgeport Sound Tigers) are located in Bridgeport, Connecticut at Webster Bank Arena and are the AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders.   

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers are looking for a detail oriented, motivated individual with exceptional communication skills, and a passion for sports. The retention specialist will be responsible for renewing/upgrading all current Sound Tigers Season Ticket Holders. This individual will need to keep in constant communication with all current ticket holders. He/She will need to maintain a strong relationship with each client and ensure their enjoyment at each and every game.  

  • Responsible for retention of the Sound Tigers season ticket holder base 
  • Manage the season ticket holder base of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers
  • Make sure that each client understands and receives each and every benefit of being a Season Ticket Member
  • Maintain constant contact with each client, addressing any issues that might arise
  • Assist in the execution of all ticket sales initiatives
  • Meet all pre-determined sales goals
  • Multi-task between customer service and selling new Full Season plans

Qualifications & Requirements: 
  • High energy and strong work ethic
  • Holds him/herself as well as the staff accountable to achieving the organizations ticket sales and revenue goals 
  • High ethical standards and commitment to the organization’s core values
  • Exhibits a team-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Uses appropriate communication tone, manner and channel in all circumstances
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and as part of a team, taking on tasks at all levels

 Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines: 
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in sales and/or customer service; experience working in the sports and entertainment industry preferred
  • Proficient at Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics CRM)
