The Bridgeport Islanders are looking for a hard-working and innovative Partnership Marketing Coordinator that can help take our corporate activations and sponsorships to a new level. As the AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, we pride ourselves on providing top-tier entertainment and engaging content to our fanbase that stretches from Fairfield County all the way across the Long Island Sound. How to Make the Team
The Partnership Marketing Coordinator is a key teammate of both the Marketing and Corporate Partnerships departments. They are responsible for the handling and execution of all corporate activations and sponsorship elements for both the arena and team assets. We need an individual that can jump right in and help innovate on activation concepts and manage the team’s relationships with new and existing corporate clients.
A strategic, big-picture thinker who is also highly detail-oriented, you will have solid experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a ‘can do’ attitude and will reside within the Islanders Marketing Department and will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing. This person will also engage with the Corporate Partnerships and Ticket Sales teams.
Show Us You Can
  • Oversee all aspects regarding the implementation, activation and tracking of sponsorship assets
  • Serve as the primary liaison between corporate partners and Bridgeport Islanders to facilitate execution of sponsorship agreements 
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to ensure a full understanding of client objectives and strategic priorities
  • Assist in prospecting meetings and brainstorming sessions to help identify new activation concepts to further the goals of the Marketing and Corporate Partnerships department

Your Equipment
  • Bachelor’s degree (Communication, Business, Management, Marketing)
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Passionate and invested in your work
  • Be curious to learn
  • Knowledge of CRM and Digideck preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism regarding deadlines
  • Comfortable tackling problems head-on and adapting to shifting priorities 
  • At ease presenting your work and explaining design decisions 
  • A motivated self-starter with a no-task-too-small attitude
Where You’ll Go
You will primarily report to our Bridgeport, CT office, along with:
