About the Role:

This position is responsible for assisting in event support for shows and events at F&M Bank Arena.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support, setup, and tear out of events.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of game night staff positions.
  • Diagnose and repair minor issues in AV equipment.
  • Perform other duties or assist in other projects as assigned by management.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, broadcasting, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of A/V and/or Broadcast
  • Knowledge of signal flow.
  • Self-starter, able to work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Be able to read and understand technical materials.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • The selected candidate must be able to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • As a condition of employment, qualified applicants will be subject to a background check, including a criminal history check, driving history and character references.

 

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform physical work which includes lifting and carrying equipment up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to climb portable and fixed ladders.
  • Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to bend, kneel and work with arms raised for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day.
  • Occasional working at heights above 10 ft. and up to 100 ft. at times.
  • Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust.

  • PC based desktop/laptop (Microsoft Office)
  • Multiline phone system
  • Adobe Software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
  • Newtek Tricaster, Broadcast Cameras (JVC), AJA Audio/Video routers, Ross Xpression, Motion Rocket, Yamaha and Allen & Heath Audio Consoles, RTS, Punqtum, Vitec IPTV
