Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Coach to support our Head Coach in all aspects of team development and performance. The Assistant Coach will play a crucial role in planning and executing training sessions, analyzing game strategies, and providing on-ice and off-ice guidance to our players.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Coach in developing and implementing practice plans and game strategies.
Provide on-ice instruction and skill development sessions to enhance player performance.
Analyze game footage and provide constructive feedback to players to facilitate improvement.
Assist with scouting and recruitment efforts to identify talented prospects for the team.
Support the Head Coach in managing team logistics and administrative tasks as needed.
Practice Planning / Execution
Film work daily w/ individuals/team
Travel/Game ops/Equipment help
College/Advisor outreach
NAHL understanding of league operations
Active in summer camps/drafts/tenders
Coordinating and maintaining all matters related to player housing
Responsible for player travel in and out to the team
Player Immigration

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience at the junior, college, or pro hockey level or higher is preferred.
Sound knowledge of hockey fundamentals, strategies, and tactics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with players, staff, and management.
Dedication to player development and a passion for supporting athletes in reaching their full potential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate team schedules and travel requirements.
