Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing day-to-day Human Resource functions including: employee relations, recruiting and selection, HR compliance, on-boarding, record-keeping, safety, training and development, policy review and development, compensation and performance management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct Employee investigations and provide recommendation for resolution
  • Provide HR solutions support, process knowledge advice and consultation to employees
  • Implement and manage on-boarding processes
  • Maintain employee information
  • Benefit Administration
  • 401 (k) Administration
  • Manage Workers Compensation program including claim management
  • Collaborate with operations team to implement and manage safety training, protocol and record keeping
  • Respond to EEOC, state and federal labor department inquiries and complaints in collaboration with legal team
  • Implement and administer harassment, manager and bias elimination training
  • Implement and manage job descriptions, salary ranges, recruitment platforms, interview and selection processes (with a focus on diverse hiring)
  • Implement and manage standardized performance review process, bonus and compensation programming
  • Collaborate with executive team, payroll & legal teams
  • Maintain required local, state, federal and departmental records, postings and reports including I-9, EEO, FMLA and OSHA record keeping requirements
  • Oversee disciplinary actions and termination processing
  • Oversee performance reviews and evaluations
  • Oversee DEI initiatives
  • Oversee employee relations committee
  • Manage, direct, mentor, and grow HR department

  • Bachelor degree or related field equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development
  • Well-developed administrative skills
  • Strong management skills – principles and people
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel
