Attorney with transactional experience to provide legal support to the NHL Events business.
Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements for NHL Events (e.g., venue, vendors/suppliers, hotels); administer process for participant waivers; advise on insurance and risk considerations; and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have approximately three years of corporate transactional experience at a law firm and/or relevant in-house corporate legal department.  Relevant experience in events, venue management, ticketing, and/or insurance/risk management a plus.  Must have demonstrated superior drafting, negotiating, communication (both written and oral), and organizational and problem-solving skills.  Successful candidate will have a proven track-record of direct client contact. Must be a team player with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple assignments, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  JD from accredited law school and admission to New York Bar required.
